Putter, with boot.
Ry and I often get a lot of questions about gear -- in particular, questions about our putters. Questions like "did you actually bring your own putters?" followed by "why did you bring your own putters?" or just "oh, I see you brought your own putters...?" and so on.

All joking aside, I thought in the off-season I'd make a quick post about our gear, for those of you who may be actually curious about the goings on in the miniverse.

Ryan uses a rusty old putter that I frequently make backhanded comments about -- that he tries to ignore. He calls it "a generic putter for a generic man."

I use a putter I bought for $10 at the Play-It-Again Sports in Roseville in 2015. The staff there were quite helpful and even helped me find a little boot for the putter when its not in use. When I first bought it, I called it "Putt Putt." But last summer Ry and I watched all of the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies (extended editions of course) and ever since I've started calling my putter Sting. Ryan tries hard to ignore this as well.

Perhaps my favorite mini outfit.

Ryan usually wears simple street clothes when we play (although he has been known to grab his single pair of Calloway socks, compliments of a dear friend, when things get serious). Me though? I'm all about the fashion. I prefer to mini in chinos or a skort with either my seriously-overpriced-but totally-worth-it white polo top from Athleta, or a cheaper-and-still-totally-worth-it half-zip from Old Navy.

We both prefer to have some sort of headgear to keep that pesky sun out of our eyes. Ry favors a white hat while I opt for a black visor. Both where purchased on the cheap at Target and they get the job done perfectly.

I think that about covers it for our gear highlights. If you have any questions though, leave us a note in the comments!
